Description

Lead the development and delivery of native Android applications within a formal Systems Development Life Cycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide, and provide technical direction to professional staff members.
• Analyze and organize technical solutions to satisfy business requirements.
• Negotiate with stakeholders and senior management to decide on software delivery approaches.
• Resolve complex technical problems independently.
• Deliver software using various methodologies including SAFE Agile and Scrum.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Kotlin, including Kotlin DSL for build scripts.
• Java.
• Jetpack Compose for native UI construction.
• Dagger/Hilt for dependency injection.
• Kotlin Coroutines for asynchronous programming.
• Retrofit for networking.
• Testing frameworks: JUnit, Mockito, Espresso, and Hamcrest.
• Android Studio IDE.
• ProGuard/R8 for code shrinking and obfuscation.
• Azure DevOps Pipelines using YAML.
• MVVM architectural pattern.
• Deep understanding of Android Application, Activity, and Fragment lifecycles.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Bash/shell scripting.
• RxJava, OkHttp, and Wiremock.
• Firebase Crashlytics and App Distribution.
