Description

You will design, build, and maintain the Android version of our product.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and build applications specifically for the Android platform.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, product owners, and QA to define and ship new features.
• Implement new product features while supporting and maintaining existing ones.
• Replace legacy technology with modern implementations to improve efficiency.
• Prepare, execute, and automate test plans and test cases.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Android development.
• Expert knowledge of Android OS, SDK, and Android Studio.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Jetpack libraries.
• Experience with asynchronous programming and background tasks.
• Strong understanding of dependency management and functional reactive programming.
• Ability to design applications following Android UI and design principles.
• Solid foundation in Data Structures, Algorithms, and OS concepts.
• Proficiency with Git and JIRA.

Preferred Skills

• Experience contributing to system architecture, design patterns, and scaling.
• Familiarity with performance optimizations and software engineering best practices.
• Knowledge of the full SDLC, including code reviews and build processes.
