Description

You will lead the end-to-end development of Android mobile applications from initial design through deployment to app marketplaces.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy complete Android mobile applications.
• Integrate RESTful APIs to connect mobile clients with back-end services using JSON or XML.
• Manage app performance limits and optimize for mobile hardware constraints.
• Maintain a high standard of UI design with a user-oriented focus.
• Collaborate within an Agile software development methodology in a multi-functional environment.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of experience using Kotlin and Java.
• Proven track record of designing and developing a portfolio of Android apps.
• Practical experience with Gradle.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML.
• Deep understanding of fundamental Android APIs, frameworks, capabilities, and UI paradigms.
• Working knowledge of mobile architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Android frameworks, specifically Apollo.
• Understanding of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines.
