Description

You will own the architecture, development, and optimization of high-quality Android applications, focusing on scalable code structures and high-bandwidth data processing.

Responsibilities

• Architect maintainable code structures and custom libraries for high bandwidth data processing.
• Utilize C++ libraries from Kotlin via Android NDK and JNI to optimize OS layer performance, threading, and diagnostics.
• Develop solutions for managing large data volumes on and off Android devices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects while maintaining technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 6-8 years of hands-on experience with Android SDK, framework, and library components.
• 5+ years of experience in Kotlin or Java.
• Proficiency in C/C++ with a solid understanding of Android JNI and NDK concepts.
• 4+ years of experience in multithreading and OS layer optimization.
• 5+ years of experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• 5+ years of experience with Object-Oriented design, SOLID principles, and data structures.
• 3+ years of experience with Android system classes related to VoLTE, VoWIFI, SMS, Bluetooth, and IMS registration.
• 4+ years of experience working with RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AOSP design principles and interface guidelines.
• Knowledge of network protocols, IoT, RIL, and Android telephony.
• Experience with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
