Description

You will lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality Android applications and scalable code structures.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement maintainable code structures and custom libraries for high bandwidth data processing.
• Utilize C++ libraries from Kotlin using Android NDK and JNI.
• Optimize the OS layer for performance, threading, and diagnostics interfaces.
• Develop solutions for managing large data on and off Android devices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects while maintaining technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Android SDK, framework, and library components.
• 5+ years of experience in Kotlin or Java.
• Proficiency in C/C++ with a solid understanding of Android JNI and NDK concepts.
• 4+ years of experience in multithreading and OS layer optimization for frameworks and diagnostics.
• 4+ years of experience working with RESTful APIs.
• 5+ years of experience in offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• 5+ years of experience with Object-Oriented design, SOLID principles, data structures, and algorithm complexity.
• 3+ years of professional work with Android system classes related to VoLTE, VoWiFi, SMS, Bluetooth, WiFi, and IMS registration.
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix environments and tools including JIRA, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and GitLab.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of network protocols, IoT, RIL (Radio Interface Layer), and Android telephony.
• Experience with cloud message APIs, push notifications, and AOSP design principles.
