Description

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of core Android features using Kotlin and Java. You will own the technical direction for large-scale systems and drive the feature roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Design and build intuitive mobile features using Kotlin, Java, and Jetpack Compose.
• Drive technical direction and the feature roadmap for large-scale Android systems.
• Mentor software engineers through coaching, training, and rigorous code reviews.
• Collaborate with product managers to define detailed feature requirements and operational feasibility.
• Improve the mobile codebase by addressing foundational issues and assisting with re-architecting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Deep understanding of the Android SDK.
• Experience conducting code reviews and maintaining documentation standards.
• Ability to evaluate system specifications and programming standards.
• Experience directing the efforts of development teams.
