Description

Build and maintain native Android applications with a focus on high-quality code and performance.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop elegant, simple solutions using Kotlin and the Android SDK.
• Collaborate with back-end developers to build and consume RESTful APIs.
• Implement UI components using ConstraintLayout and manage dependencies via Gradle.
• Write testable, reusable, and self-contained modules and components.
• Participate in Agile scrum meetings and conduct code walk-throughs to ensure quality metrics.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of Android native app development experience.
• FinTech background is required.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Deep experience with Android Architectural Components and MVVM design pattern.
• Expert level knowledge of Retrofit 2 for REST API consumption.
• Expert knowledge of Gradle for build and dependency management.
• Experience with asynchronous and event-based code using RxJava or Kotlin Coroutines.
• Strong understanding of UI implementation via ConstraintLayout.
• Any Graduate degree.
