Description

You will lead the development of user-facing Android features and reusable libraries.

Responsibilities

• Develop new Android features using Kotlin and Java.
• Build reusable components and frameworks for integration into other applications.
• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality, optimized code for mobiles, tablets, and TVs.
• Analyze complex requirements and communicate technical challenges to stakeholders.
• Lead a distributed team of developers across different regions.

Required Skills

• 5 to 12 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years as a Senior Android Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and working knowledge of Java.
• Deep understanding of Android SDK (4.0+), System Framework APIs, and Google Play Services.
• Experience with Rx.Java and its core principles.
• Proficiency in Unit Testing using JUnit and Mockito.
• Knowledge of mobile programming patterns including MVC and MVVM.
• Experience with video playback, encoding, and transmuxing.
• Familiarity with Git and build automation systems.
• Experience with Play Store account administration and submission.
• Basic knowledge of iOS and Web programming platforms.
• Fluent verbal and written English.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge or interest in the cricket domain.
