Description

You will own the architecture, development, and maintenance of high-quality Android applications and scalable code structures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement maintainable code structures and custom libraries for high bandwidth data processing.
• Utilize C++ libraries from Kotlin via Android NDK and JNI to optimize OS layer performance, threading, and diagnostics.
• Develop solutions for managing large data sets on and off Android devices.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams using JIRA, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and GitLab for continuous integration.

Required Skills

• 6-8 years of hands-on experience with Android SDK, framework, and library components.
• 5+ years of experience in Kotlin or Java.
• 5+ years of experience in offline storage, threading, performance tuning, and SOLID principles.
• 4+ years of experience in multithreading and OS layer optimization.
• 4+ years of experience working with RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of Android JNI and NDK concepts with familiarity in C/C++.
• In-depth experience with Android system classes for VoLTE, VoWiFi, SMS, Bluetooth, WiFi, and IMS registration.
• 3+ years of professional work with Android telephony and messaging interfaces.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with OEM manufacturers, network protocols, IoT, and RIL.
• Knowledge of AOSP design principles and cloud message APIs.
