Description

Build Android Automotive applications and Hardware Abstraction Layers to connect apps with vehicle sensors.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement custom HALs for Radio, Vehicle, Audio, and GNSS components.
• Develop Android applications using web frameworks.
• Manage Android OS migrations and implement security protocols including SELinux, FBE, and FDE.
• Execute testing and validation using Android CTS and VTS.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in C++ (STL, Templates, Exceptions, Threading), Java, and Python.
• Deep knowledge of Android Framework, Car Service, Android Treble, VNDK, AIDL, and HIDL.
• Extensive experience in the Automotive Domain, specifically Android Automotive.
• Proven expertise in Component/System Design using SOLID principles and Design Patterns.
• Hands-on experience implementing Custom HAL.
• Hands-on experience with Android CTS/VTS.
• Knowledge of Android security, SELinux, FBE, and FDE.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in any graduate field.
