Description

You will develop Android and Linux-based infotainment modules, including message modifications for Meter and HUD communication.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop infotainment applications and HMI functional components on the Android platform.
• Execute test cases and scripts to ensure complete requirement and test coverage.
• Perform bench and vehicle debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Coordinate between development and validation teams to align on defect fixes.
• Maintain first-time quality and process adherence through rigorous requirement analysis.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development and verification/validation.
• Proficiency in Java, Android, C++, and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Android Studio and Android application development.
• Experience with Git Lab, SVN, Gerrit, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodology.
• Experience in Blackbox and Whitebox testing.
• Ability to perform hardware bench setups and issue reproduction.
• Knowledge of communication drivers, CAN, and Ethernet.
• Competency in Object Oriented Development.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of SDLC, Middleware development, and Amazon Alexa SDK building.
• Experience with HMI development, hardware flashing, and IoT.
• Familiarity with Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto features.
