Description

Lead the design, implementation, and release of native Android applications while mentoring a small engineering team.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and high-level design for medium to large projects.
• Direct the work of three to five developers and mentor junior engineers.
• Manage code, configurations, and release processes across multiple environments.
• Troubleshoot production issues and design flaws to provide functional solutions.
• Translate business requirements and storyboards into technical implementations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Extensive experience building native Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
• Proven track record of shipping applications currently available on the Google Play Store.
• Experience acting as a technical lead for complex project deliveries.
• Proficiency with GraphQL and Restful APIs.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical implementations.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with React Native and JavaScript.
• Server-side development experience using Node.js.
