Lead mobile engineering projects from discovery through implementation, ensuring scalable solutions for business requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end mobile engineering projects, driving technical action plans from concept to release.
• Troubleshoot production issues, analyzing memory leaks and performance bottlenecks using tools like DDMS and MAT.
• Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to team development through knowledge sharing.
• Apply current mobile expertise to improve technical strategies and resolve complex business requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience building scalable ecommerce applications or mobile software.
• Proven Android development experience with at least one published application.
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
• Experience integrating mobile network clients with HTTP protocols and REST APIs.
• Hands-on work with Google Play APIs, including Maps, Location, and Cloud Messaging.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, MVC, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with distributed version control using Git/GitHub.
• Ability to perform unit and integration testing on Android code.
• Experience with software debugging using debuggers, loggers, and crash report tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with embedded real-time systems with limited memory and processing resources.
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
