Description

You will design, develop, and ship scalable Android applications while owning the delivery of major features and components.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect networking and data modeling layers using modular design patterns.
• Own the full feature lifecycle from initial architecture to app release and regression testing.
• Conduct code reviews and audits for pull requests across the team.
• Mentor developers and practice pair programming to improve code maintainability.
• Collaborate in agile environments using Scrum or Kanban processes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional programming experience.
• Expertise in Kotlin and Java.
• Proficiency with Android UI development using XML and Jetpack Compose.
• Strong experience with Android lifecycle, fragments, and multi-module architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Room, Coroutines/Flow, RxJava, Dagger 2, or Hilt.
• Deep understanding of networking libraries including OkHttp3, Retrofit, or Volley.
• Proficiency with Git, Gradle, and command line tools.
• Experience implementing automated testing using JUnit, Espresso, Mockito, or MockK.
• Direct experience managing CI/CD and deployment pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Machine Learning, Voice, or AR/VR technologies.
• Knowledge of inclusive and accessible UI implementations.
