Description

You will own the development of high-quality, performant Android applications in Toronto.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop highly performant Kotlin code and implement view layouts.
• Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks within the application.
• Collaborate with product teams, designers, and developers to deliver mobile experiences.
• Apply disciplined practices to development, testing, documentation, and code structure.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of engineering experience in team settings.
• Expertise in Kotlin and MVVM/MVP architectures.
• Strong command of OOP design principles and Android framework lifecycle.
• Proficiency with Git for code versioning.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs to connect to backend services.
• Deep understanding of concurrency and threading best practices.
• Familiarity with the Android tool ecosystem for debugging and benchmarking.
• Solid computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
