Description

You will design, build, and maintain e-commerce applications for the Android platform. You own the release pipeline, from code to submission, while mentoring junior developers and ensuring high code quality.

Responsibilities

• Design and build complete Android applications from end to end.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Identify bottlenecks, fix bugs, and maintain code quality using advanced debugging tools.
• Lead and mentor junior developers by delegating tasks and reviewing code.
• Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness across devices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java, the JDK, and the Android SDK.
• Expertise in Android UI, including Fragments and custom view components.
• Experience writing multi-threaded and networked applications.
• Advanced debugging and analysis skills using ADB.
• Proficiency with IntelliJ or Android Studio.
• Experience with the application submission and provisioning process.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with OpenGL, the NDK, or high-performance graphics code.
• Experience with protocol buffers.
