Description

You will develop and maintain Android applications for POS terminals, ensuring compliance with payment standards and seamless hardware integration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android-based applications for POS terminals (Ingenico, Pax, Verifone, Newland, Sunmi, etc.).
• Integrate AIDL services for inter-process communication between apps and payment kernels.
• Ensure compliance with card scheme standards (PCI-DSS, EMV).
• Create clean, efficient, and responsive UI components for POS screens using Java.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and debug performance issues on hardware devices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of total software development experience.
• 2+ recent years focused on POS terminals.
• Proficiency in Java and Android SDK.
• Experience with Integration Testing, System Testing, and Unit Testing.
• Familiarity with API integration and Payment Processing.
• Knowledge of EMV standards.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with C++ and Linux environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with UI Development and Back End Software Engineering.
• Knowledge of Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI).
