Description

You will design and implement Android and Linux OS frameworks for Mixed Reality products. You own system-level APIs that enable complex application use cases.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement system-level APIs and frameworks for Mixed Reality use cases.
• Contribute to the definition of next-generation Mixed Reality products.
• Partner with hardware, design, product management, and Quality Engineering teams to ensure product success.
• Write performance-critical code in C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Solve complex technical problems through rigorous coding and debugging.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of software design and development experience.
• Deep knowledge of Android, Linux, or Windows system-level frameworks and internals.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for performance-critical development.
• Experience with embedded systems hardware and software integration.
• Strong technical problem-solving, coding, and debugging skills.
• BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Windows or Linux device software driver development.
• Hardware bring-up, manufacturing, BSP, and OS image creation.
