Description

Lead the design, build, and management of enterprise-scale automation solutions using Ansible. You will mentor developers, manage the Ansible infrastructure, and drive architectural improvements for large-scale environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance and performing code reviews.
• Administer Ansible infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, inventory, roles, and playbooks.
• Develop automated build and deployment solutions by translating requirements into scalable Ansible playbooks and templates.
• Analyze existing infrastructure and processes to identify opportunities for automation and architectural improvements.
• Troubleshoot and remediate complex automation issues within large-scale enterprise topologies.

Required Skills

• 7-10 years of hands-on experience in Ansible Playbook development.
• In-depth expertise in Azure cloud services (VMs, NSGs, VNets) or equivalent AWS cloud services.
• Experience provisioning resources within Azure and/or AWS environments.
• Proficiency in PERL and PowerShell for reverse engineering and modifying legacy automation scripts.
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), configuration management, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with version control systems, specifically Git.
• Proven ability to manage automation work items, priorities, and technical documentation.
• Strong programming concepts applied to developing maintainable automation code.
