Description

You will lead API testing efforts by designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reusable automation scripts and frameworks for API testing using Postman and Rest Assured.
• Integrate automated API tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous deployment.
• Design test plans, test cases, and data sets based on functional and non-functional requirements.
• Execute automated test suites to validate API functionality, performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and stakeholders to resolve defects and automate test environment configurations.

Required Skills

• 5 to 10 years of experience in QA automation.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Rest Assured for API testing.
• Minimum 6 months of experience with Python.
• Deep understanding of OOPs concepts applied to automation framework development.
• Experience in automation framework enhancement and implementation.
• Ability to perform load and stress testing to assess API reliability.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with management and technical teams.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Microservices architecture and AWS.
• Experience within the Banking or Financial Technology domain.
