What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and execute functional test cases for REST and SOAP APIs to validate business requirements, data accuracy, and system behavior.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, and REST Assured/Karate; validate request/response payloads, status codes, headers, and error handling.
• Analyze API specifications and requirements, identify test scenarios, and ensure comprehensive test coverage across integrated systems.
• Log, track, and verify defects, working closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure quality deliverables.
• Participate in test planning, regression testing, integration testing, and report test results while maintaining detailed test artifacts and documentation.

What's Needed?

• Extensive hands-on experience with Playwright and Karate automation tools.
• Proficiency in designing, developing, and executing API test cases for REST/SOAP APIs.
• Strong understanding of API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, and REST Assured.
• Ability to analyze API specifications, identify test scenarios, and ensure complete test coverage.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
