Description

You will design, develop, and execute functional and automation test cases for REST and SOAP APIs to validate business requirements, data accuracy, and system behavior.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform API testing using Postman, Swagger, and REST Assured/Karate, validating request/response payloads, status codes, headers, and error handling.
• Analyze API specifications to identify test scenarios and ensure comprehensive test coverage across integrated systems.
• Log, track, and verify defects, collaborating with developers and business analysts to resolve issues and ensure quality deliverables.
• Participate in test planning, regression testing, and integration testing while maintaining detailed test artifacts and documentation.
• Report test results and work closely with stakeholders to validate system behavior against business requirements.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright and Karate automation tools.
• Proficiency in designing, developing, and executing API test cases for REST and SOAP APIs.
• Strong understanding of API testing tools including Postman, Swagger, and REST Assured.
• Ability to analyze API specifications, identify test scenarios, and ensure complete test coverage.
• Experience with functional test case design and execution for complex integrated systems.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Any Graduate degree.
