Description

Build and migrate software services for mobile channels using a Java/J2EE stack.

Responsibilities

• Develop production code and POCs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and defend software architecture using diagrams and patterns.
• Act as the technical liaison between API and iOS/Android client teams.
• Lead brainstorming sessions to align solutions with business requirements.
• Resolve technical issues across production, development, and testing environments.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in Java, Core Java, and the Java/J2EE stack.
• Deep knowledge of Spring Boot and the suite of Spring services.
• Experience with Microservices Architecture and API design.
• Proficiency with Design Patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Kong.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Electric Flow, and GitLab.
• Working knowledge of AWS, Web servers, and Application servers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Istio and AWS.
• Architect certification such as Zackman or TOGAF.
