Description

You will build and maintain backend APIs for clinical transformation and CMS regulatory compliance projects.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend APIs for clinical workflows, including hip and knee surgery scheduling and post-surgery follow-ups.
• Integrate backend services with EHR systems such as Athena, Cerner, Epic, Allscripts, and Meditech.
• Maintain at least 80% code coverage for all implementations.
• Lead technical escalations, execute mitigation steps, and provide project status updates to clients.
• Mentor team members through technical training, knowledge transfer, and task estimation support.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Direct experience integrating with EHR systems: Athena, Cerner, Epic, Allscripts, or Meditech.
• Knowledge of CMS regulatory requirements.
• Experience working within Scrum ceremonies and daily stand-ups.
• Ability to collaborate with front-end developers for seamless API integration.
• Proven experience in technical leadership, including escalation management and team feedback.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate status.
