Description

You will lead API strategy, execution, and lifecycle management using Apigee and Java.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define API strategy, including service virtualization and API product bundle creation.
• Develop, publish, and maintain APIs by configuring routes, flows, and programmable proxies.
• Manage the full API lifecycle, including administration, monitoring, and health checks.
• Implement security protocols covering authentication, authorization, certificates, and encryption (mTLS, OAuth).
• Administer Apigee operations, user roles, permissions, network configuration, and backup/restore processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in API development and administration.
• Deep expertise with Apigee and API proxy configuration.
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Experience with Cloud environments and hybrid deployment models.
• Hands-on knowledge of security implementation, specifically mTLS and OAuth.
• Experience managing API developer registration and providing technical documentation.
• Ability to manage Edge, network configurations, and user permissions.

Preferred Skills

• Background in maintaining and enhancing existing API ecosystems.
