Description

You will design and build scalable APIs and microservices.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable APIs and microservices using Java SpringBoot and Webflux.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to define API requirements and integration points.
• Optimize API performance and reliability using monitoring and testing tools like Postman and JMeter.
• Document API designs, endpoints, and usage guidelines using tools like Swagger and Confluence.
• Troubleshoot and debug API issues to ensure high availability and fault tolerance.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in software development focused on API design.
• Proficiency in Java programming language, SpringBoot framework, and Webflux.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and JSON.
• Experience with API security, authentication, and authorization standards.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment.
• Effective collaboration within an Agile/Scrum environment.
