Description

You will design, execute, and maintain API test strategies for telecom systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive API test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing of RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Validate API integrations across BSS/OSS systems like CRM, Billing, Order Management, Inventory, Provisioning, and Network Management.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and provide detailed reports and recommendations.
• Collaborate with development and architecture teams to ensure test coverage.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in API testing, with 3+ years in the Telecom domain.
• Strong hands-on experience with REST/SOAP API testing tools and automation frameworks.
• Deep understanding of BSS/OSS architecture and workflows.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab and version control systems like Git.
• Experience working with major telcos like AT&T, T-Mobile, or Verizon.
• Hands-on experience with tools including Postman, SoapUI, JMeter, Karate, or RestAssured.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with microservices architecture and API gateways like Apigee or Kong.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
