Description

You will design, execute, and maintain API test strategies for telecom systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement API test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing of RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Validate API integrations across BSS/OSS systems including CRM, Billing, Order Management, Inventory, Provisioning, and Network Management.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and provide detailed reports and recommendations.
• Collaborate with development and architecture teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in API testing, with 3+ years in the Telecom domain.
• Hands-on experience with Postman, SoapUI, JMeter, Karate, or RestAssured.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab and version control systems like Git.
• Deep understanding of BSS/OSS architecture and workflows.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with microservices architecture and API gateways like Apigee or Kong.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
