Description

You will own API and data-centric testing within a Hadoop environment, ensuring end-to-end quality for complex data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end, functional, regression, smoke, and production testing cycles.
• Build and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automated scripts.
• Perform data validation, cleansing, and ETL testing to manage data hopping.
• Create dashboards to track quality metrics and defect status.
• Analyze project-wide problems and propose systemic solutions beyond assigned tasks.

Required Skills

• 9-12 years of hands-on testing experience.
• Expertise in API testing and Selenium.
• Strong SQL skills for database and ETL testing.
• Experience with Hadoop and Hive ecosystems.
• Proficiency in Python for test automation.
• Experience with defect tracking and UAT coordination with business stakeholders.
• Ability to perform complex data validation and cleansing.
• Proven analytical skills to identify and resolve systemic project issues.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PySpark and HAS.
