Description

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex API solutions using the Apigee platform, including monetization modules and security governance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement API solutions, migrating legacy APIs to OAuth-specific implementations and managing token invalidation.
• Enforce API governance, design specifications, and security standards across the organization.
• Monitor production support via GCP logs and participate in deployment calls for API proxies and Akamai cloudlet updates.
• Mentor junior developers through code reviews and technical guidance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in API design and development using Apigee.
• Strong programming proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, Java, and Spring Boot.
• Deep understanding of Microservices architecture and RESTful design principles.
• Expertise in API security mechanisms including OAuth, JWT, and API keys.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in CI/CD practices and automated deployment tools.
• Experience with Apache configuration and API specification documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Akamai cloudlet updates.
