Description

Lead the design, implementation, and evolution of enterprise API management and customer experience integration platforms. Establish and enforce API standards, patterns, and governance aligned to customer and partner experience needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and build REST, GraphQL, and experience-layer APIs to support diverse digital channels.
• Implement API security controls and integrate APIs with CIAM/IAM solutions to ensure enterprise security and privacy compliance.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure, and enable monitoring and observability for APIs and integrations.
• Operate APIs in cloud or hybrid environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Drive API modeling and HTTP best practices across the engineering team.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, integration, or platform engineering.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with API management platforms such as Azure APIM, Apigee, MuleSoft, Kong, or AWS API Gateway.
• Strong expertise in RESTful API design, HTTP, and API modeling.
• Proficiency with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools including Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with strong integration focus.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
