Description

You will design, build, and support workforce applications using Appian, owning the full development lifecycle from testing to production support.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement applications using Appian Process Models, SAIL Forms, and CDTs.
• Engineer system reliability by managing availability, latency, scalability, and efficiency.
• Conduct impact analysis and write technical user stories within an Agile framework.
• Mentor junior developers and establish internal development best practices and design guides.
• Integrate with databases and external systems using REST APIs.

Required Skills

• Appian Senior Developer Certification with recent hands-on design and implementation experience.
• 5+ years of experience with Appian components: Process Models, SAIL Forms, CDTs, records, and reports.
• 5 years of experience with REST Web API development and integration tools like MuleSoft.
• 5 years of experience with cloud technologies including AWS and Azure.
• 5 years of experience building CDTs and integrating with databases (DB2, MySQL, MariaDB, or MS SQL Server).
• 5 years of experience applying SDLC principles and software design techniques.
• 8 years of total developer/programmer experience or a bachelor's degree in a technical field with 5 years of programming experience.
• Proficiency with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools like Octane.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).

Preferred Skills

• Appian Lead Developer Certification.
• Experience working with hybrid Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
