Description

Lead the design, development, and implementation of Appian applications and database structures. Guide architects on technical solutions and conduct architecture reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers and guide architects on technical solutions and architecture reviews.
• Consult with users and clients to recommend programming solutions and gather requirements with the Product Owner.
• Monitor all development phases, including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
• Define operating standards, establish essential procedures, and train junior developers to grow the Appian practice.
• Manage project deadlines and adapt to changing requirements within agile or waterfall environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of significant IT experience.
• Hands-on development experience with Appian or other low-code platforms such as XCeptor or Power Apps.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Python, C#, or VB.net.
• Strong technical knowledge of Spring Boot, JDBC, and JMS.
• Experience with database design and managing inter-relationships with external systems.
• Practical experience working within Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a matrix environment.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience working within a banking or finance environment.
