Description

You will lead the end-to-end design and development of complex Appian applications, translating business requirements into technical specifications and reusable patterns.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design process models, records, interfaces, sites, and reports.
• Integrate Appian with external systems using REST, SOAP, and SQL.
• Develop custom Appian plug-ins using Java.
• Troubleshoot performance and scalability issues.
• Conduct peer code reviews and mentor junior developers.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on Appian development experience.
• Expertise in SAIL, Process Models, Records, and Expression Rules.
• Proficiency in Appian security design.
• Experience extending Appian plug-ins using Java.
• Strong understanding of BPM/BPMN concepts.
• Solid grasp of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience overseeing solution architecture and enterprise compliance.
