Description

Architect and deliver scalable Appian solutions for federal and commercial projects. Own the full development lifecycle from stakeholder requirement translation to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Architect Appian applications, including process models, data models, user interfaces, and external system integrations.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into efficient, scalable technical designs.
• Perform code, test case, and deployment reviews to maintain high quality and security standards.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of overall software development experience.
• 5+ years of dedicated Appian development experience.
• Expertise in Appian development using SAIL code.
• Strong knowledge of Appian design patterns, best practices, scalability, and performance optimization.
• In-depth understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Proven ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects independently.

Preferred Skills

• Appian Senior Developer certification.
• Experience with Appian RPA, Portals, and Plug-in development.
