Description

You provide part-time administration and technical support for Jira environments, averaging 15 hours per week.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade Jira instances, including multi-node data center environments.
• Oversee Jira configuration and integrate external applications such as GitHub and Bamboo.
• Manage Atlassian Marketplace third-party applications and resolve system software problems.
• Provide technical documentation, training, and mentorship to personnel.
• Respond to critical communications within one hour and standard requests within two hours.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in application administration.
• Proven experience upgrading multi-node Jira Data Center instances (version 9.x minimum).
• Proficiency in updating Jira configuration files including server.xml, web.xml, and application-properties.
• Ability to create and update Bash and Groovy scripts.
• Experience using RHEL command line and maintaining CRON table entries.
• Expertise in TSQL and creating/altering SQL Server database objects like stored procedures and views.
• Advanced Jira project configuration including custom workflows, listeners, events, and security schemes.
• Proficiency in constructing complex JQL queries.
• Experience monitoring and troubleshooting clustered nodes and managing Atlassian support tickets.

Preferred Skills

• Jira Administrator certification.
• Experience with AD/LDAP connection and configuration.
• Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and Jira APIs.
