Description

Perform full-stack development on legacy modernization projects for Java applications.

Responsibilities

• Translate user requirements and stories into technical tasks and functional code.
• Develop user access functionality, workflows, reporting, and dashboarding within existing applications.
• Create database views to support business intelligence needs in Tableau.
• Write technical and user documentation for all project work.
• Participate in agile scrum ceremonies, including work sessions and sprint task estimation.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software application development experience.
• 8+ years with Rational Application Developer (or Eclipse-based IDEs), Enterprise Java Beans (EJBs), and Java Struts framework.
• 8+ years with HTML5, XML, JSON, JavaScript (jQuery, Bootstrap), and browser-based debugging tools.
• 8+ years eliciting requirements to form epics and user stories.
• 8+ years in application testing and end-to-end requirement delivery.
• 8+ years writing technical documentation.
• 4+ years with Apache Ant and SVN.
• 4+ years writing user documentation.
• 3+ years working on agile scrum teams, estimating work, and sizing tasks for sprint development.
• 3+ years using Microsoft Teams or similar collaboration tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Tableau for business intelligence.
