Description

You will design, develop, and modernize enterprise applications on AWS using Java (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, J2EE) and/or .NET (.NET Core, .NET 6/8, C#, ASP.NET).

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Refactor monolithic applications into cloud-native microservices and migrate on-premises workloads to AWS using rehost, replatform, refactor, or re-architect strategies.
• Containerize applications for Amazon ECS, EKS, or Fargate and modernize to serverless architectures using Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions.
• Implement event-driven architectures using SQS, SNS, Kinesis, and MSK, and integrate with data stores like Aurora, DynamoDB, and ElastiCache.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Harness, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps, and manage infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Instrument applications for observability using CloudWatch, X-Ray, or Dynatrace and enforce security best practices including OWASP and IAM least-privilege.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, J2EE) and/or .NET (.NET Core, .NET 6/8, C#, ASP.NET).
• Strong experience with AWS services including EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, and S3.
• Experience migrating legacy databases (Oracle, SQL Server) to cloud-native stores (Aurora, RDS, DynamoDB) using AWS SCT and DMS.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Harness), Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of 12-factor app principles, cloud-native patterns (circuit breaker, saga, CQRS), and automated testing frameworks.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with .NET Framework to .NET Core/6+ migration.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Splunk, ELK, or Prometheus/Grafana.
