Description

You will develop and implement solutions for legacy modernization projects, focusing on translating and optimizing mainframe-based systems for federal or financial sectors.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with government SMEs, including COBOL programmers, to execute automated code translation and optimization.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications using Java, .NET, and AngularJS.
• Implement software solutions leveraging agile methodologies and AI/ML processes.
• Work directly with Software Architects and Systems Engineers to ensure PWS tasks are executed correctly.

Required Skills

• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, IT, or closely related discipline.
• Secret security clearance required.
• 10+ years of total work experience developing applications for large complex IT systems.
• Demonstrated experience with legacy modernization projects for the federal government (DoD preferred) or commercial banking/finance.
• Proficiency in hierarchical and relational database structures.
• Full stack development experience with Java, HTML, .NET, AngularJS, JavaScript, SOAP, and REST APIs.
• Significant experience implementing software solutions leveraging agile SW methodology.
• Experience with ML/AL processes and implementing solutions based on AI/ML.
