Description

Lead technical design and development of multi-platform application systems while maintaining a hands-on engineering role.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.
• Mentor junior software engineers and provide functional and technical leadership.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and stakeholders to define system requirements.
• Write high-quality code with a focus on automated testing and validation.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and perform performance tuning, monitoring, and production support.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of related experience with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience building high-volume, high-transaction Java-based applications.
• 6+ years of experience building web applications using Java, Spring, and REST services.
• Proficiency with Java, Groovy, and REST services.
• Experience with SOLR, Kafka, Cassandra, and MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Jira, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux command line.
• Expertise in asynchronous message processing, stream processing, and event-driven computing.

Preferred Skills

• 4+ years in microservices architecture and system design.
• 2+ years of experience with cloud technologies including AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Chef, or Terraform.
• 4+ years of experience in unit and functional testing using JUnit, Spock, Mockito, Selenium, Cucumber, SoapUI, or Postman.
