Description

Design, develop, and modernize enterprise applications on AWS using Java and .NET.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Refactor monolithic applications into cloud-native microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and .NET Core.
• Migrate on-premises workloads to AWS using rehost, replatform, refactor, or re-architect strategies.
• Implement event-driven architectures using SQS, SNS, Kinesis, and MSK.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or Azure DevOps and IaC with Terraform.
• Instrument applications for observability using CloudWatch, X-Ray, and ELK.

Required Skills

• 7–12+ years of experience in application development.
• Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, J2EE) and/or .NET (.NET Core, .NET 6/8, C#).
• Hands-on experience deploying to AWS (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB).
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS).
• Knowledge of 12-factor app principles and cloud-native patterns (circuit breaker, saga, CQRS).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and IaC (Terraform).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven integration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS SCT and DMS for database migration.
• Familiarity with security best practices (OWASP, IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager).
