Description

You will own the end-to-end development and support of .NET backend systems and EDI integrations for healthcare clients.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and configure inbound and outbound EDI feeds, including X12 transaction sets (834, 835, 837) and proprietary vendor feeds.
• Develop and maintain Microsoft .NET backend systems, including scheduled console apps, web applications, and MSMQ-based messaging services.
• Collaborate with customers, business analysts, and partners to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide technical support, manage release implementations, and participate in on-call and 24x7 support rotations.
• Act as Technical Lead or Project Manager on project teams, conducting technical walkthroughs and delivering concise documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Recent experience in the Healthcare or Health Insurance industry.
• Proficiency in .NET Framework and C#.
• Strong SQL Server database skills.
• Experience with messaging technologies, specifically MSMQ.
• Knowledge of source control solutions such as Git or TFVC.
• Proven ability in root cause analysis and issue resolution.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading project teams in roles beyond standard development.
