Description

You will design, develop, and support advanced IVR applications and integrated telephony systems. You will own the release and maintenance of PBX architecture and telecommunication network services.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced IVR applications using object-oriented programming.
• Integrate telephony systems with other computer systems using web services and communication protocols.
• Interpret and troubleshoot SIP-based VoIP traffic and integrate dissimilar SIP telephony systems.
• Support contact center operations by addressing workforce management needs and key metrics.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development using an object-oriented programming language.
• Experience with web services and cross-system communication protocols including SOAP, VXML, SQL, XML, and REST.
• Practical knowledge of PBX architecture and telecommunication network services.
• Ability to troubleshoot and interpret SIP-based VoIP traffic.
• Understanding of contact center operations, including key metrics and workforce management.
• Experience integrating telephony systems with external computer systems.
• Degree in any field of study.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with management and development of speech recognition systems and grammars.
• Working knowledge of Genesys Cloud.
