Description

You will lead the design, development, and modernization of enterprise applications on AWS using Java and .NET.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Modernize monolithic Java and .NET applications into cloud-native microservices on AWS.
• Refactor legacy code to containerized workloads and deploy on Amazon ECS, EKS, or Fargate.
• Implement event-driven architectures using SQS, SNS, Kinesis, and Amazon MSK.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Harness, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps with IaC via Terraform.
• Instrument applications for observability using CloudWatch, X-Ray, and structured logging.

Required Skills

• 7–12+ years of software development experience with a Bachelor's degree.
• Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, J2EE, Hibernate) or .NET (.NET Core, .NET 6/8, C#, ASP.NET).
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on AWS (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB).
• Experience migrating on-premises applications to AWS using rehost, replatform, refactor, or re-architect strategies.
• Proficiency with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS or ECS).
• Experience with database migration and modernization (Oracle/SQL Server to Aurora/RDS/DynamoDB) using AWS SCT and DMS.
• Ability to implement 12-factor app principles and cloud-native design patterns.
