Description

Build and deploy cloud-native applications in highly regulated environments using Python backends and modern frontend frameworks.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services using Python and design workflows with AWS Step Functions and Airflow.
• Build and maintain frontend applications using Angular or React with TypeScript.
• Write Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CDK to manage cloud deployments.
• Design and implement Glue jobs using Python Shell and PySpark for Data Lake integration.
• Lead technical efforts in database management, cloud security, or cloud-centric integration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in AWS cloud application development.
• Expertise in Python application design, code structure, packaging, and deployment.
• Proficiency in React or Angular for frontend development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, including layer management and deployment types.
• Strong knowledge of AWS Glue, Athena, and RedShift for Data Lake management.
• Experience with database development and migration using Postgres and RedShift.
• Ability to implement event-driven architectures using SNS/SQS and EventBridge.
• Experience utilizing AWS CloudWatch and CloudTrail for logging and auditing.
• Competency in writing unit tests and using various mocking techniques.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing within AWS GovCloud environments.
• Knowledge of Okta or Cognito for granular data access security.
