Description

You will own application support, maintenance, and solution design across core platforms. This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and implement integrated solutions for application support.
• Tune systems in mixed UNIX/Windows environments for maximum performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production and non-production issues proactively.
• Manage application configurations and patch levels for SWIFT, IBM MQ, and related systems.
• Perform root cause analysis and coordinate resolution efforts with development and operations teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years proven experience with third-party application support, specifically SWIFT and IBM MQ.
• Functional scripting knowledge in Perl, Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Fundamental knowledge of Linux Operating Systems, preferably RedHat variants.
• Fundamental knowledge of Windows Operating Systems (2019+).
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and tools (GIT).
• Knowledge of Operational Concepts, including Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
• Experience supporting core applications like IBM Sterling Integrator or Tableau.

Preferred Skills

• JavaScript proficiency.
• Business Process Management Language (BPML) knowledge.
