Description

Modernize and maintain financial applications by re-engineering legacy systems and supporting Python, Perl, Java, and MSSQL environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Re-engineer and migrate legacy systems to target-state architecture.
• Maintain and enhance applications built with Python, Perl, MSSQL, and Java.
• Troubleshoot complex issues through root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflow efficiency.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of application development or support experience in a financial institution.
• Proficiency in Perl and Python scripting.
• Practical knowledge of Java for backend services or tooling.
• Strong experience with MSSQL, including advanced SQL and performance tuning.
• Exposure to cloud platforms and DevOps practices (CI/CD, version control, automation).
• Experience with Agile delivery in large-scale transformation or migration programs.
• Familiarity with job scheduling and monitoring tools.
