Description

You will develop and support web applications within a complex enterprise environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Write, troubleshoot, and tune SQL code for optimal performance.
• Facilitate Joint Application Design (JAD) and Joint Application Requirements (JAR) meetings.
• Conduct design and code peer reviews to maintain quality standards.
• Design, build, and deploy applications in cloud environments.
• Manage application lifecycles using standard development and ticketing tools.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience with Java, J2EE, and JavaScript frameworks.
• 15+ years of experience with Spring MVC, Spring Batch, and Spring Web Services.
• 15+ years of experience supporting web applications running on Oracle.
• 10+ years of experience designing and tuning SQL for performance.
• 10+ years of experience using Jira, Bitbucket, ServiceNow, SQL Developer, and Eclipse IDE.
• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud deployments.
• Experience with Governmental Retirement Benefits and Health Programs (e.g., CalPERS).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience with cloud-native application design and deployment.
