Description

You will provide production support for Structured Derivatives applications and infrastructure, ensuring high availability for trading and risk management systems.

Responsibilities

• Support critical Front Office applications requiring 24x6 uptime.
• Manage incident and problem lifecycles, including holding Problem Review Meetings (PRMs) to track actions to closure.
• Automate manual tasks and implement tools to reduce operational burden on business teams.
• Coordinate planned maintenance, disaster recovery exercises, and major roll-outs.
• Identify operational risks and control deficiencies, escalating findings to management and risk functions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT.
• Strong knowledge of Capital Markets, specifically Fixed Income products, Derivatives, and Structured Products.
• Proficiency in Shell, Perl, or Python scripting.
• Experience with Sybase or SQL Server, including writing SQL queries and database performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with UNIX environments.
• Familiarity with job scheduling and monitoring tools such as Control-M or Geneos.
• Ability to work shifts, including weekends.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DevOps, Cloud technology (AWS, GCP), or Grid environments.
• Working knowledge of Elastic Search and release management tools like Ansible or Jenkins.
• Understanding of ITIL processes.
