Description

You will maintain and enhance critical legacy applications, serving as the Subject Matter Expert for the MACWIS and CCWIS ecosystems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance legacy Natural, VB6, and .NET applications.
• Develop and execute data cleanup scripts using SQL and Natural for de-duplication, integrity, and migration.
• Support Data Migration and Testing (DMT) validation efforts.
• Prepare technical documentation and provide production support for ongoing operations.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with Natural Programming Language.
• 10+ years of Visual Basic 6 (VB6) programming experience.
• 10+ years of SQL programming experience.
• Proficiency in .NET Framework (C#, ASP.NET).
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting legacy production systems.
• Strong background in data integration, batch processing, and file-based interfaces.
• Experience in code refactoring, modularization, and system transition to modern platforms.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience with Child Welfare Information Systems (SACWIS, MACWIS, or CCWIS).
• Familiarity with ADABAS.
